Mitchies Georgi Peach of Touch O’ Love

Georgi was our second addition to our fast growing Mi-ki family she joined our family in April of 2004. She also has a wonderful easy going personality. She loves to mother all of our Mi-ki’s, whether it is a new puppy or one of our older ones.
Georgi gave us 4 pups in her first and only litter. Two of the pups she gave us are very healthy and adorable, and she is a great mother to them. Unfortunately, two of the pups were born with a hereditary disorder called hairlip, which is the same as cleft palate, but it affects the nose area instead of the upper portion of the mouth. Due to the fact that this is so devastating to the pups and they are unable to eat normally and would not survive, we had them put down. We have chosen to retire Georgi so this will not happen again, and she will remain a part of our spoiled Mi-ki family for the rest of her life.
Unfortunately, Georgi's parents are still breeding and producing pups with this disorder, as well as possible carriers of it. So again, I want to remind all interested buyers of a Mi-ki, please check out your breeder thoroughly if you plan on purchasing a Mi-ki to breed. This type of disorder is not only devastating to see, but the pup will not survive.
